Managing Director

On July 28th, 1971, Peter Wilson, current M.D., completed his apprenticeship in Felt Roofing and Cladding under the National Joint Council for the Building Industry.

After three years as a sub-contractor, Gable Roofing & Cladding Company Ltd was founded in 1974 as a family business.

Now, 54 years later, Peter still leads The Gable Group, supported by a strong, experienced younger team sharing the same ethos, enthusiasm, and commitment.

Finance Director

Lisa joined Gable in 1984 as a receptionist and moved into an accounts role in 1989. This sparked her passion for finance, leading her to earn accounting qualifications through night school. With over 40 years at Gable, she now serves as Finance Director, overseeing key financial operations.

Outside of work, Lisa is passionate about fitness and enjoys socialising in her spare time.

Operations Director

Mick has worked in roofing since 1983, specialising in pitched roofing and metal rainwater systems. With hands-on experience, he understands all construction phases. His company, Guttercare UK Ltd, joined the Gable Group in 2018, and Mick became Operations Director in 2023, overseeing projects from start to finish.

A football fan, Mick had a long playing career, managed for 26 years, and later became Chairman of Horndean Football Club. In his free time, he plays guitar, collects records, and spends time with his six grandchildren.

Construction Director

With over a decade in construction, Jack has developed strong leadership skills, consistently delivering exceptional results. Since joining Gable Projects three years ago, he has managed a diverse range of contracts from start to finish. Passionate about mentoring professionals, Jack upholds high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, thriving in dynamic, challenging environments.

Outside of work, Jack is a dedicated rugby player and enjoys time with his two dogs.

Director

Adam joined Gable in 2019 with over 20 years of construction experience, including more than 15 years in roofing. His career has spanned administrative to leadership roles, thriving in high-pressure environments. Known for his attention to detail and team-focused approach, Adam has steadily advanced through the company, earning the promotions that reflect his commitment.

Outside of work, he enjoys motorsports (F1 and WRC), running, playing guitar, and attending live music events - though not usually all at the same time.

Director

Starting in private building as a labourer, Lewis transitioned to commercial construction in 2008, focusing on sheeting and cladding. In 2011, he moved to the office and now oversees estimating and project management within the busy cladding and metal sheet roofing department. Lewis was named Director in July 2025.

Mornings are spent at the gym, weekends with dog walks and his son's football games and spare time is filled with music, vinyl records, and playing drums.

Business Development Manager

Rory joined the Gable Team in early 2025. Having worked in property and estate management for the last 14 years, he brings experience primarily from a sales and customer service background. A new role for the company with the view to enhancing Gable Projects client base and development of relationships.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with the family, watching and playing football plus the occasional round of golf.
